I have always been up and down with my weight most of my teenage/adult life. I gained the majority of my weight through difficult pregnancies. With one successful pregnancy, I gave birth to my beautiful daughter (17 years ago). Through the years she became an avid runner and I had the desire to be able to run 5k's/marathon's with her. Over the past five years that desire lead me to dropping... more

Worked hard and did something for me. Mom of three kids, I was overweight most of my adult life. Once I made the decision to lose it, I didn't look back. My breasts lost so much volume and were terribly "deflated" my "pooch" stomach never went away. I have always wanted a mommy makeover. One week out and I couldn't be happier I did it.
Feeling great - sore and stiff but doing well!

I am so thankful for this website!! I have been reading all of the reviews here on RS and they are so helpful in calming my nerves. My story is similar to many. I started developing early and have always had large breasts. Right now I am a 38DDD. As for my tummy, one pregnancy at 22 and it was never flat again!! My weight has always fluctuated; I gain and lose repeatedly. The last time I lost... more
Dr. Lacerna is absolutely phenomenal. I am 48 yoa with two grown children. At the birth of my children, I weighted 115 pounds and both children were large babies. The stretch marks and loose skin left after childbirth was unreal, and to had another 21 years of weight fluctuations most certainly took a toll on my body.
Dr. Larcerna eased my nerves, took her time to understand what I wanted... more
I am exactly 1 week post-op from a Mommy Makeover and I'm very happy with my results! I had two very large babies (9lbs 1 oz and 9lbs 8 oz), so my stomach was stretched to the limit. I lost all of my baby weight plus some and was left with sagging skin on my lower torso.
I went to Dr. Lacerna's office, very scared and unsure if I'd even go through with it. But she was so attentive to what I... more
I am newly divorced and 40 with 3 children, ages 19, 13 and 5. My weight has always fluctuated but about 8 years ago i started gaining and didn't stop until 289 pounds. I had vertical gastric sleeve on 7/31/12 and have lost 115 pounds to date. Lots of skin left after the weight loss. I already had a breast reduction in december 2012 and now on august 8th i am having a tummy tuck, lipo and... more
Hey everyone! (1st time posting!) I love reading all of your stories! I went to my 1st consult (Dr. Schmidt @ Sarasota Plastic Surgery) a few weeks ago, and have my 2nd/last consult (@ Lakewood Ranch PS) in the morning. I'm nervous again...just because of the excitment I think. I'm looking into:
Tummy Tuck with hip lipo
Lipo under my neckline
Lipo inner thighs
Breat Lift with... more
I have been reading a lot about mommy make overs and tummy tucks and I don't know. I feel like I am being selfish if I do it, but I also cry every day looking in the mirror. I have tried working out, been working out since Oct. and I'm 5'2 and weight 143lbs. I have a sagging 38DD and a tummy to follow...with disgusting stretch marks. My hubby is not so supportive as he thinks I am perfect the... more
I had a breast reduction and lift along with a tummy tuck in September 2009. I decided to have both procedures done at the same time only to eliminate 2 recuperating periods.
There was absolutely no pain... I know that sounds weird, but it is the truth. The only pain I experienced with my tummy tuck was sneezing.
I must say this to any smokers who are considering any type of cosmetic... more
