The area of my brow worked but crows feet and bunny lines didnt.(well, very slightly) I went back 2 weeks later for top up (40 units) - still no change. Another two weeks on for further top up (30 units) - still no change. This is getting very costly now but I dont want to give up as it will be a waste of what I have paid already. I have read that the technique could be wrong or its has been stored correctly but the nurse is adamant she follows all training guide lines.
All wrinkles around the outer aspect of the eye do not respond to Botox. Some of these lines are created by the lift of the cheek. Only those created by the orbicularis muscles can be treated. Having said that, there is a small pecentage of people who do not respond to Botox. In those case, changing to Dysport or Xeomin can sometimes be helpful.
I am a 25 years old female, 4 years ago I had fat grafting to my face to fill the area under my cheekbone, 2 years later some of the transferred fat moved from the injected area to my jawline ((I Had a wide jawline to begin with)) + I gained around 13 lbs Now my jawline is wide and I dont know what is the best method for me? the BOTOX ?? the Jawline Liposuction?? or should I consider losing more weight?
I wouldn't count on botox to do much to your jawline. Some docs are injecting the platysma along the jawline and calling it the "Nefertiti Lift". I don't see much improvement with these injections. To contour the jawline, Ulthera, laser lipo, or surgery is needed.
I have a history of anaphylactic reactions that started in my early 20's. lasted over 10 plus years, into my early 30's. I probably had 20 plus episodes and currently carry an epi-pen, although it has been about 10 years (I am 45) since my last reaction. Doctors could never pinpoint a specific cause. Is it safe for me to get botox? Thank you!
Not sure if you have the correct diagnosis. You should consider getting evaluated forr Angioedema. In any case, the possibility of having a reaction to BOTOX is extremely rare. I have even injected (just today) patient's with history of angioedema with botox and had no issues.
