I am currently scheduled to receive liposuction in my outer thighs an flanks at the same time as a BA, next month. My question is, since I seem to put on weight mostly in my thighs/flanks first, and my lower abdominals second, will I regret not also getting my lower abdominals done? I'm worried I will go through all the pain and work of recovery, only to gain my extra pounds strictly in my belly after recovery and still be uncomfortable in my body. Thoughts?
If you know that the abdomen is a secondary area of diet resistant fat then I would recommend having it done as well. I do not believe in doing only the lower abdomen, as this leads to some very abnormal and poor results. Liposuctioning the entire abdomen improves skin shrinkage and the overall result. Doing them all at once will also probably lower the cost of doing the abdomen later on as this is only an add-on procedure. You will also be healing all at once. Good luck.
My PS said he was going to do lipo on 3 places ( my muffin, above BB & hip's ) with me TT and didn't. should I say something to my PS. Scared to say anything that might make PS mad What should I do >>>>>> Plezzzz help
First of all, you should not hold questions back from your surgeon. This is a person you chose to have a major operation with and a candid conversation is warranted. How do you know that no liposuction was performed? Was the liposuction to be adjunctive and discretionary during surgery? Often times as surgeons, our operative plan changes due to factors seen during the operation. Safety is paramount in any cosmetic procedure, and perhaps your surgeon felt that liposuction in your case would cause more risk than benefit. Having an open conversation about this will distill your fears and provide you answers you are undoubtly searching the internet for.
Is it possible for me to achieve that beautiful SPACE or GAP between my thighs with liposuction? My thighs constantly rub, making running/walking/jogging difficult when i work out, and it wears out my pants. It also makes me extremely self conscious. Can this be achieved on me? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for your question tinkerbelle. If the rubbing between your thighs is in fact fat then liposuction will help you achieve a more esthetic look. Just from your photos it does not appear you need am outer thigh liposuction. I don't see evidence of skin wrinkling or poor tone from this photo. Do your homework and make sure you are evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon who can determine if a liposuction or thigh lift will give you the best result. Good luck, Dr. Schuster in Boca Raton.
