28yr Old Female with Eye Bags

28yr old female with eye bags that age my face and make me look tired. The bags seem to have gotten worse over this past year. What is my best option to remove?

A: Blepharoplasty Palm Beach Gardens Based on your description, you seem to have pseudoherniation of periorbital fat. If it is just the fat and not skin that is contributing to this appearance, I would recommend, after properly evaluating you in consultation, a transconjunctival lower lid blepharoplasty. In this procedure, there is no external incision and therefore no sutures that require removal postoperatively. The incision is hidden on the inside and the protruding fat is teased out and removed. I typically perform this procedure in an office setting under local anesthesia in 30-45 minutes. The use of local anesthesia allows for less recovery, lower risk, less cost and fewer side effects. The quality of the result, however, is not compromised. The end result can make you appear more youthful, less tired and less aged.

Forehead Looking Fake, What Are My Options? (photo)

I used to have a very short forehead. I had it enhanced using laser treatment. It is longer and looks good when I have my hair down, but it looks very fake if I pull my hair up! You can see a very unnatural hair line. Can you tell me if there is anything I can do to give my forehead a more natural look? Thanks,

A: Hair Transplant It is difficult to determine from the information presented, what exactly looks "fake" from your perspective. Based on your concerns about an unnatural hair line, one consideration would be a hair transplant primarily along the frontal hairline using single hair micro-grafts only along the frontal hairline in a few rows to create a slightly more uneven yet natural looking hairline.

"3 Dimensional" Nasolabial Folds with Indented Cheeks

Hi, I'd really appreciate a response, as I can't find any helpful information online.I'm 26 and am concerned about changes in my face over the past 3 years, as people keep asking me if I'm sick (I'm not). I have nasolabial folds that are, for lack of a better term, 3-dimensional, and above them there are very noticeable indentations in my cheeks. They show up very clearly in the attached pics and make me look very unhealthy for an otherwise healthy guy of only 26. Any advice appreciated.

A: treatment for submalar deficiency Based on your photographs, the problem is not really your nasolabial folds. I have several patients like you with similar concerns. The areas between your nasolabial fold and the cheekbone has a loss of volume likely due to fat loss. The volume loss combined with your bony anatomy in the cheek area is causing the illusion of a prominent nasolabial fold. The solution lies not in treating the nasolabial fold but in filling the volume loss in your submalar area. This can be done with a variety of injectable filler. My preferred method is sculptra injections which, in my hands, have been very effective with in treating this type of volume loss, thus reducing the prominence of the nasolabial fold.
