Your CEREC appointment time would be one to two hours. This may seem longer than using a dental lab to make the crown but you only need one visit, not two spaced two weeks apart.
What kind of numbing agents are offered when Cerec crowns are fitted? Do patients ever need anything more than tylenol afterwards?
Only if you find the tooth to be very sensative when the dentist removes the temporary. If so, good idea to numb.

Any crown can last from 1 to 30 years. They fail mostly due to decay underneath, not so much due to wear or fracture. Use a night gard if you are a grinder.
