I emailed a practice that specializes in Brazilian Butt lift. The original price was $14,000.00. But if I did it in May, it would be $10,500. I said I would not be able to travel until June. They said the cost in June would be $12,000.00. Why does pricing change from month to month for the same procedure with the same Doctor?
Most reputable plastic surgery practices don't have large fluctuations in their surgical quotes from month to month. Some discounts are typical and used as normal marketing promotions within reason to increase patient flow. Beware of large discounted prices that appear too good to be true!
Can I use my identical twin sisters fat for the brazilian butt lift?
It would not be appropriate, in my opinion, to consider using your twin's fat for several reasons. The first is the fact that you may have some antigens that would not be shared between you that could stimulate an immune response. The other is that ethically, I do not think it would be appropriate to obtain donor fat from an identical twin for a cosmetic procedure; it would violate several ethical principles. This is not the same thing as a life-saving transplant. There is no reason to subject your twin to the risks of anesthesia, scars, infections, bleeding, or other potential complications, for a purely cosmetic procedure. If you do not have ample fat in donor sites to allow you to have a fat transfer of your own tissue, then perhaps this is not the operation for you.
I was told by my PS that I could have a possible maximum of 700cc total with my lipo of 4 areas after centrifuge. Is this enough to make a difference. He doesn't want me to expect a big change or be disappointed and I am not. My goal is not to be huge, I have always had the problem with pants fitting uncomfortable in the waist (38 35 38) to accomodate my small behind. I just want some overall balance with clothing. Do you believe this can help.
It is difficult to answer this question without having an idea of your body shape, weight, height and problem areas. Some people have very limited donor sites for fat transfer, which limits the size of augmentation. However, it is preferable to use the fat you are having liposuctioned to throwing it away, if you are interested in body shaping with fat transfers. Like most things in plastic surgery, there is no absolute cutoff or guideline. However, if you have very loose or poorly elastic skin on the buttocks, it may be more difficult to get a firm, raised look to a buttlift with small volumes of fat.
I do believe fat transfer is far preferable to buttock implants for augmentation, however. I think the implants feel too hard, are difficult to sit on, and have a much higher risk of infection.
