I have had 'bags' under my eyes ever since I can remember (they're hereditary) and I finally decided to to something about it. I have noticed my upper lids becoming more puffy with age, so I decided to do the upper as well. I'm less than 3 weeks out of surgery, but so far, so good. This site really helped me, so I wanted to share my experience. more
I am very concerned because I had upper and lower eyelid surgery 9 days ago. My left eye is healing great; however my right eye has not been right from the beginning. It has always been more swollen, then got a little better, now this morning almost swollen shut. My PS saw it today and just said to give it time. But I am very worried why one is so much worse! Finally went to see opthamologist... more

I asked if my big eyes would get smaller or change shape and he said no,would just take out a pinch. Has been 2 months. My eyes are tiny, I have long scars going downwards (had no wrinkles before), have hollows under eyes and under one eye it looks like... more
Would take upper surgery back if I could but I can't so I wont lament on that. My lower eyes look okay with no puffiness, some scar tissue did develop so one of my eyes appears smaller than the other, I have been instructed to massage the lower eyeball 10seconds 10/ dayI am 3.5 weeks out from upper/ lower blatharoplasty. My scars are red, puffy, painful and extremely noticeable. I look at... more
First I would like to say how helpful it was to have this site and to read everyone's reviews ahead of time. I decided to get the procedure because at age 40 my under eye bags and sinking upper lids were making me look tired all the time. Since bags run in my family I thought better take care of them before they got a lot worse and my skin loses more elasticity (thankfully I'm... more
