I don't mean the whole cheek area including the mid face, I just mean the upper cheek bone and to pull the eye troughs out so they are less visible. Would this be too superficial for sculptra and risk visible lumps if they were to form?
Essentially all the materials you mention could be used; but my preference is to use Radiesse or your own fat injected deep over the bone, this is most effective to create a more prominent defined cheekbone. Sculptra will work, but tends to be more diffuse. In the upper cheek area under the eyelid Radiesse is not appropriate and the other materials can be used more superficially. Fat is also an option but needs to be very carefully placed by someone with experience with fat around the eyes. I use frozen banked fat quite frequently around the eye areas as it is a smoother finer consistency than fresh fat.. Depending on what you are trying to achieve, one may combine materials with Radiesse or fat deep, and the other materials more superficially.
Im 43. My Cheeks Sag but I Need No Volume. I Have a Round Full Face. Whats Best Non Invasive Treatment to Lift Them Up.
I recommend using Sculptra to help fill areas on the face. My preferred method for a non-invasive facelift is using fat. However, it does require the fat being harvested from one place on your body (it can be removed under local anesthetic) and then reinjected into your face.
I had cheek implants done in 1998. They have been quite successful in giving me a more youthful appearance. However, I am now 65 and have lost volume in my lower face with some lines and cheek hollowing and a genetic asymmetry in my cheek size becoming more apparent with the fat loss. Can Sculptra be used OVER the existing implants as well as in the submalar area. I don't want large cheeks, just a somewhat fuller face with lines minimized. I'm told I have good skin quality for my age.
Thank you for the non uncommon question.
In my 10 years of using Sculptra abroad and later in the USA, I have had this request before. It was my experience to use the Sculptra in the subcutaneous space over the implant with no problems.
Ask you local physician.
