I dont have a weight problem, just a little bit of cellulite i want to permanently get rid of. I had 3 sessions and havent seen major results, I talked to a plastic surgeon and he doesnt believe the fat in the fat cells actually gets desolved (triglycerides to fatty acid) and passes through the fat cell membrane. Who to believe? Has anyone done it? are there results?are they permanent?and do we actually get rid of fat? or do we reuse it?
I would say that up to now there has been no real good treatment for cellulite. All treatments typically required multiple sessions and results did not last.
The FDA just approved the Cellulaze laser a few weeks ago. This is the first treatment that has shown lasting results. Typically one treatment has shown to improve cellulite for up to a year or more.
lipomassage (endermologie)or subcision which one is the best treatment cellulite? thank you
Neither of those treatments give predictable or long lasting effects. The FDA just approved the Cellulaze laser which has shown to reduce cellulite with one treatment. Results so far show that the improvement lasts at least a year or more.
Would someone please provide some guidance on the key differences of Thermage/Cool Sculpting/Endermologie/Exilis? I am 5'4 and weigh 118 lbs, 43 years old, workout 5 days a week, have extremely healthy diet. Still have some cellulite in thighs/hips/buttock area that is frustrating and I cannot seem to resolve through diet and exercise. What procedures would be the most effective and provides the fewest follow up visits. Any insight would be appreciated! Dawn G.
Thank you for your question. Actually the newest treatment is the Cellulaze. It just got approved this week by the FDA. A single laser treatment has shown to reduce cellulite for up to a year or more.
