I went to Dr. Hartog with my 700cc circus boobs wishing to have them explanted because like many women who have had circus boobs there becomes a point that you're DONE. After convincing me that I'd be disfigured I opted for 500cc replacement implants. MISTAKE. Still have circus boobs. Still unhappy. more
Hello everyone! This is my first pre op post. As of today am thirty days until my surgery! At my consultation my dr and I had discussed 330-380 saline high profile implants, but after looking around I'm going with 400cc. I have two babies ages 3 and 1 and have deflated into a 34A. Aim so edited and can't wait for my procedure!
28 dayssss! The fear of me being "too big" is fading and the... more
I've always had small breasts, Before pregnancy, I was almost in a B cup, after 4 pregnancies, I'm now an A cup on my left, 1/2 an A on my right. I've been wanting implants for years, but have always had the "mommy guilt"- Didn't want to spend that much money on myself. My job- I do THOSE parties ;) - has taught me to appreciate myself and that it is okay to do things for myself.
I have always been in the " itty bitty titty committee" and been heartbroken about it. My Mother and Sisters have these big overflowing breast and they would tell me how they think I'm great the way I was (that's what they had to say LOL). Anyway, since probably middle school though, when girls start developing, and I never did, I experienced my first taste of real insecurity. Lids can be so... more
I have always been small chested. I've always wanted and dreamed of bigger boobs but wasnt very thrilled with the idea of getting fake ones. But after having my now 3.5 year old daughter and breastfeeding, I finally got to experience a fuller look. And I LOVED it. After breastfeeding- they went back to a sad 34A. Since then I have planned on having surgery to achieve a full C. I figure with... more
Within weeks I had a bubbling feeling on the left and went into see Dr Slade. Granted some say his bedside manner is not the best but he was always polite enough. I also told him I thought I had cysts on right side. He said he felt nothing. Sent me for a mammogram and followup with ultrasound and yes I was right. I had cysts. Even if he didn't feel them I certainly did (I have since have them... more
10 years later they still look amazing!
I also got nose job at the same time and that's been great too.
As long as you go into this with realistic expectations for your body type, he will not disappoint you.
Down time wasn't bad for me, nose jobs are just a pain because it itches but never have I regretted it.
In fact, I plan on getting more work done soon by him. more
I am 30 and have 3 kids, had 32b boobs before kids but after breastfeeding all 3 I now am a deflated 32A. I really can't wait to feel sexy again for myself. I went to three consults and finally chose my PS. He was great, he took his time to answer every question my husband and I had.
I go to my my pre-op on 1/27/12. I am very petite 4'11" and 106 pounds and I really dont want... more
I wanted to be more proportionate. I was always small on top and even smaller after two kids.
I had them done in March of 2011 and I have been happy since day one. I had minimal swelling and one small area of bruising. My incisions look great and both my Gyn and my primary doctors said the same when I was at my annual appointments with them. more
Starting after High School many of my friends started getting implants, I hate needles and blood, so never considered it. I am very bottom heavy and after a while started consider implants to balance me out.
I am so glad I went through with it the pain wasn't near as bad as I thought. Recovery was quick I was out shopping less then a few days later, and a bridesmaid 2 weeks later. Many... more
My doctor was the best. He listened to what I wanted and delivered it just the way I expected. Of course there was a little pain involved, but my doctor and staff were and still are always there to answer questions and make my experience the best it ever could be. My doctor is at the top of his field and I would tell anyone wanting a Breast Implants or anything else should go to see him. He... more
Pros: fullness, firmness, lifting effect. Cons: awkward to sleep on your stomach. After breastfeeding, I was unhappy with the elongated shape of my breasts.
Since I was already a small c-cup, I was trying to decide between a lift and implants (I couldn't afford both). After my consult, I opted for 350cc saline high profile implants, putting me at a small d-cup.
I must say recovery... more

No pros whatsoever...Maybe other doctors are good at what they do. Mine left me with breasts that look as though they are from two different people. Let me give you a brief rundown of all the issues I am left with after 7500 dollars:
- No feeling throughout either of my breasts - only internal pain I can not describe!
- My areolas are everywhere when they were even prior to this.
I used a doctor in Orlando and my experience was great. I got implants and reconstruction of my breast that had a square look after a previous reduction. The implant gave the round shape but were not to large. I do have beautiful breast now.The staff and the doctor make the visit feel very comfortable and the doctor is very confident, knowledgeable, and precise in his work. I am very happy... more
Ihad breast implants because I was not happy with my breast size. My experience has been very good so far, I'm happy with the results.I had breast implants three weeks ago (260cc). My left breast is still in pain/discomfort when I'm laying down on bed. Is this normal? more
Pros: increased confidence, clothes fit and look better, helped even out the proportions of my body.Cons: discomfort even years after surgery, decreased nipple sensation, very painful recoveryI had breast implant surgery mainly because I felt insecure about my small bust and it was affecting my love life with my long time boyfriend because I hated him to see my breasts naked. I had a breast augmentation done four yrs ago to enhance the appearance of my breast. I noticed a lump on it 2 weeks after the Dr. said it was scar tissue. Now 4 yrs later I come to find out it was a defective implant.I am very worried that I won't be able to get this fixed and the surgeon is charging me his fees plus anesthesia etc. I have to come up with $4,000 just to fix a problem that... more
So far I'm only 4 days post-op but I'm already loving my new look. I've tried on everything in my closet a million times and everything looks/fits so much better.
