Hello there, Im getting a rhinoplasty soon which gonna make my upperlip more long and raise the tip. Thing is that, my smile is dropping and don't show enough teeth when I smile...I hate it ! Im affraid it's gonna get worth after the surgery. So my question is, how can I get this result (photo below) ? What are the options ? My upper lip is not thin and I feel it's cause it make it drops more...am I wrong ? Sorry, I look quite silly in the second picture... Thank you Luna
In certain cases, a lip lift can be aesthetically helpful; yours is not one of them. Stay well away from any Surgeon proposing this procedure to you.
I had a "sub nasal lip lift" but my scar is like a half circle beneath my nose, down toward my lip. What kind of lip lift did I have? I am not happy with the placement of the scar and I cannot cover it with makeup. The scar is over 7 months old. Can a lip lift be revised. Mine did very little to "lift" my lip.
One of the major problems with a lip lift is the scar it leaves behind, even in the best of circumstances. I agree that the incision placement is suboptimal in your case. Although there is still hope for improvement, it is probable that a revision will be required based on incision placement.
