I like my eyes and eyebrows as they are now. I simply want to reduce the height of my forehead, for I feel it looks a little disproportionate. I've read about brow lifts and such, but I don't want to have a more "alert" or "surprised" look after surgery. Age:20
You are a beautiful young lady who has absolutely no need for facial cosmetic surgery. Although it is technically feasible to reduce the size of your forehead (Trichophytic approach), some elevation of your brows would likely ensue. Unfortunately, you might be able to find a Surgeon who would agree to perform surgery, so be careful what you wish for.
What is the price range of a forehead lift, just approximately... is this procedure less cost than a full face lift or more?
A forehead lift is definitely less costly than a Facelift, primarily because it can be performed more quickly. Cost will vary based on the approach (Endoscopic versus Trichophytic) and in the region of the country in which you live. If performed with other procedures, a multiple procedure discount is usually given; if performed in isolation, it will cost between $5000-$7500 in SW Florida.
If I don't lift my eyebrows in a picture or when I talk to someone I look mean. I'm only 18 and I'm already getting forehead lines because of it. I want to get a lift or something but without look scary or fake. what would be good?
A well executed browlift will not give an appropriate candidate for surgery a "bug eye" look. However, at age 18, other options (if any) should be pursued than surgery.
