A Twofold Question Regarding Fat Transfer After Restylane to the Tear Troughs

I am 23 and have always had hereditary dark circles caused by tear troughs and very thin lower lid skin. 2 months ago I had restylane done. It did slightly improve the contour, though I have a dent under one eye and the darkness from underlying vasculature and muscle is still there. Now I'm hoping fat might be an option as it isn't clear. Can I have fat transfer to the area with the restylane so recent? I'm also trying to find a dr in Atl that is known to be skillful with this delicate procedure

A: fat to eyes

I think it would be best to delay it a bit till the restyene is gone.Fat is a good option and a light peel might provide enough bleaching to get rid of soem of the color you have.l

Breast Fat Transfer

I had my first fat transfer to the breasts 2 weeks ago. Is it normal for the breasts to feel tight and lumpy at this point. Do the breasts eventually feel softer and move more natural? I am also wearing the brava bra postoperatively for increased circulation to the new fat.

A: lumpy breasts post fat transfer

Yes if you are only 2 weeks post fat transfer this is totally within the range of normal. This lumpness can take several months to go down so don't fret.i

Is it Normal to Harvest Fat but Not Transfer the Fat Until a Later Date?

Is it ever the standard of care to harvest fat for fat grafting and not inject at the same session? My doctor wants to freeze the fat and inject it in two months.

A: Freezing Fat for Later Reinjection

I think that the results with Sculptra are more likely to be predictable and reproducible than freezing and re-injecting fat.  As has previously been mentioned, there are too many variables in saving fat in an autologous frozen state and saving the tissue for future use to make it a procedure I would recommend.
