How Do Dysport and Botox Formulas Differ in Their Effectiveness on Deep Forehead Wrinkles?

I'm assuming that botox work better on deep deep forehead wrinkles, is this true? Why?

A: Dysport and Botox are Equivalent

Both Botox and Dysport are safe, efficacious, and reliable treatments for hyper-dynamic lines on the forehead.  The only differences are subtle variations in the Botulinum Toxin Type A  molecular structure, the relative dosing, and the manufacturer. My initial experience with Xeomin (another variant of Botulinum Toxin Type A) has also been very good.

How Many Units of Dysport Should Be Given for Lines Between Eyes and Horizontal?

I am 44 and have vertical and horizontal lines on forehead. I did a Groupon for 40 units of Dysport and the Doctor told me it was not enough. So I paid to double it and he wrote down that I had 50 units. How much should I have had? He said I could go back for touch up in 2 weeks, but now I think I didn't have to pay for the extra!

A: Dysport in the Glabella

My experience with Dysport in the glabella is that 50-60 units is sufficient.  I would recommend that you choose your Dysport injector with other methods than Groupon.  The deep discounting (or actually paying out of pocket) method of recruiting patients is new and controversial.  Since Facial Plastic Surgery does not lend itself well to the "high volume" model of seeing patients, I would recommend that you seek out your Doctor via word of mouth in the future.

Does Dysport Cause Indentions in the Skin After You Have It Done?

I had Dysport done to my forehead a couple of months ago. I actually had to go back because it didn't take in the upper portion of my forehead. I woke up this morning and noticed an indentation on my forehead above my right brow. It looks as if somone pushed on my forehead with their finger and it left a slight concave, an uneveness, a soft spot, compared to the rest of my forehead. Any clue of what might be causing this and what do I need to do?

A: Dysport will not cause Contour Irregularities in the Skin

Although it is impossible to give a diagnosis without a picture and physical exam, the findings you describe are most likely not due to Dysport. I would recommend returning to your Doctor for a discussion of your concerns.
