I have several deep dimples in my chin, and I've heard Botox could get rid of them. What do you think?
Very low dose Botox can be very effective for the undulating effect that can occur on the chin related to mentalis muscle function. If you are more concerned about a line or chin deep groove, use of a filler or volumizing agent may be more appropriate.
I have lost 30 lbs over the last 8 months. Now my double chin is worse. What is the best non surgical option?
Until we are able to and choose to address the genetic code for aging changes, there will be no therapy which is more efficacious than surgery for a double chin. Unfortunately, the years to come will offer no shortage "revolutionary" therapies which will be advertised as surgical alternatives or "non surgical facelifts".
I really want a more pointy chin, and have been researching for the perfect surgeon in my area. After reading all the reviews, I wonder if I am even a candidate for one. Since I do not want to post my photo, I was wondering if there were any plastic surgeons in the Los Angeles or Orange County area that I can send my photo to and get an assessment and possibe consult?
Although it may be easier in certain ways to have a virtual consultation, I would advise against it. Much is lost when not seeing a patient in person. To evaluate a person's chin, it is best to see the chin from all angles and in three dimensions. It is important for the surgeon to feel the structures of the chin and the overlying soft tissues. When looking at a picture or a computer screen, something is lost and may result in less accurate recommendations.
