I got some great answers, thanks to all of the doctors that responded!I did some research and do not think I am ready to go through with a brow lift. I do feel I am a little young and should try other options first. The problem is that I had tried botox about a year ago and didn't get very noticeable results. Could this be that the doctor just didn't do a great job? I would be willing to try botox again, if I know that I have a good chance of lifting the lateral brow portions.
I am surprised to hear that you had unsatisfactory results with getting a brow lift from Botox. We routinely treat the glabella and crow's feet in combination to help wrinkles while providing a natural looking lift to the brows. If Botox is used to treat the forehead, however, this browlift is often negated. Through the use of Botox, I have found that I perform less brow lifting surgery and I might suggest trying Botox again. I hope this helps.
When a person has a facelift, is it a good idea to also have a lateral browlift, to open up and eyes and decrease the excess on the lateral brow whish is common after a facelift only procedure? Thank you.
The answer depends on the indications on the individual patient. However, I agree with Dr. Mayer that a lateral brow lift is rarely a superior procedure to a more complete brow lift (Endoscopic or Trichophytic).
Just wondering what options I have for my eyebrow and eyelid. Ideally, I'd like to match my left (your right) eyelid and eyebrow, as I like showing more lid and prefer the more arched brow. What are my longterm and short-term options? And yes, I've tried compensating with makeup but it's a pain in the butt! :) Thanks in advance!
The easiest way to correct this would be dysport or botox injections.you can ntitrate it and it should give a nice temporary lift.
