I'm 22 years old but have always had a sort of round chin, even in pictures from when I was a young child, and despite being otherwise very lean and tall. It produces the look of a slight double chin from the front, and gives me an odd, rounded jawline from the side. If I sort of pull back there toward my jaw and hold it with my fingers, I have a much nicer, straight profile so I don't think it's something wrong with my bone structure. What procedure might be an option for something like this?
Thanks for the posted photo it helps. Yes you are a great candidate based upon the posted photo for submental chin liposuction.
Are scars from chin liposuction noticeable after healing, or does the procedure hide the incision marks? Is there ever a need for stitches, or can that make the scarring worse?
Three areas are used, under chin fold or submental. And bilateral ear lobules if needed. Yes I use a dissolvable one suture.
I just had lipo of the chin done 2 days ago and feel great and only have a little bit of swelling . I noticed all the comments of others who have had this done get sent home with some kind of chin strap. I did not? Is this bad?
Is it a requirement? I do not believe so but is it a standard of care? YES. So I recommend some form of chin strapping.
