If a Cheek lift is not the same, what does the lower facelift improve? Is the recovery as hard as a full Facelift? I'm in need of Necklift at age 42.
The difficult part of this question is that different people use different terminology. A cheek lift usually equates with a midface lift which is only appropriate for a small subpopulation of young people with early facial aging and is almost never employed in my practice. A lower facelift is a neck lift +/- midface work. In reality the neck lift requires near the complete facelift dissection anyway and does not save you recovery. The danger in performing a lower face lift is taht it can create a strange transition between the upper mid and lower thirds of the face presenting an unnatural appearance. for that reason it is the rare patient that gets a necklift or lower face lift in my practice. I hope this helps!

Hello. I am 30 years old female from Turkey. My main problem is hollow eyes and sagging cheeks. Some of the Drs. advised Endoscopic Mid Face Lifting and also Fat transfer. Some of the Drs. don't believe in Endoscopic Face Lift and also don't like Fat transfer (they say, there can be serious problems like unwanted lumps etc.).
My cheeks don't have much volume(I lived with hormonal problems in 2008, and I lost some volume on my cheeks). Now I decide to have normal Cheek lift (with classical method). I really wonder, if I have Cheek lift surgery, can it help hollow eyes?
My opinion is to avoid cheek lifts. If not done on an appropriate patient( appropriate patients are rare) and by a practitioner with good skill and judgement they can result in bizarre appearances. better results can be obtained with fat grafting alone! I hope this helps!

I am 23. I have droopy cheeks, extra skin/fat in the jowl/chin area, and visible lower eye whites. When I smile these issues are accentuated. Would a cheek lift address these issues and how do I find facial surgeons who have extensive experience on younger patients?
I would strongly recommend staying away from midface lifts cheek lifts implants and permanent fillers. These are not good choices for your concerns. In my practive you would get a profractional Erbium laser treatment followed by fat grafting to give you an elevated refreshed look. I hope this helps!
