Can a Medpor Implant Be Revised During Surgery

I have cheek implants and I know only after 2 weeks they are clearly too big for my face, they sit on the bone and i can see the outline, they are very harsh across the cheek and that is only going to get worse as the remaining 10% of swelling subisdes. I either need them revised/sculpted down during revision surgery, or if that is not possible, I would have them removed. The former choice is my preference? Is that a possibility using my current implants?

A: Removal of Cheek Implants

An experienced surgeon can take out the implants reduce their size and replace them. The better alternative may be to simply order a smaller size and then remove the ones you have and replace them with the smaller ones.

31 Year Old Male, Looking for Best Treatment for Malar Crescents (photo)

I have a line on my face on each side of my nose. It extends from the junction between my nose and inside of eye to the edge of my cheek bone on each side of my face. I have had these since I was 25. I went to see a plastic surgeon who informed that what I had was Malar Crescents. Since I'm 31 and don't really actually have any other wrinkles he did not recommend any type of surgery. He recommended using Radiesse to fill the crescent. What is the best treatment for Malar Crescents?

A: Malar Cresents

These malar cresents are best treated with a filler. I personally use Juvederm but others use Radiesse with excellent results.

Do I Have Plagiocephaly? What Can Be Done to Reduce Forehead and Cheekbone Flatness? (photo)

I'm male, 18, and wondering what can be done about the flatness present on the left side (on the picture) of my face. I have minor muscular torticollis which might have caused minor plagiocephaly. The left side of my forehead and cheekbone area is flat with little to no prominence of features. What can be done to render my forehead symmetrical and my cheekbone area as well? I am considering brow surgery if these areas can be fixed. My eyes are asymmetrical due to differences in orbital position.

A: Cheek Implants

The approach to the cheek is a simple cheek implant that can easily solve this problem. The temporal forehead area is another problem and you may need a cranialfacial consultation.
