What Size Implants Do I Need to Go From an A/B to a D Cup? (photo)
I am 34b some bras that are an A fit. i am 122 pounds 5'8'' i am getting a lift too. the doc thinks i should not go higher then 325 ccs and says ill be a C but i want to be a D i think. What sizes CCS should i get? he wants to go over the muscle
A: Implant and cup size.As you mention in your question, in some bras you are a B cup and in other bras an A cup. This is due to a lack of standardization of cup sizes. With 325cc implants, you will probably be a C cup in most bras and perhaps a D in others. Determining what implants your breasts can appropriately hold can only be done with an examination. If you are unsure of the plan for surgery and whether the implants are right for you, schedule a second consultation to discuss your concerns and see if your plastic surgeon has a sizing bra. As for going over the muscle, you have very little breast tissue and I would be concerned about implant visibility and rippling over time.
Who Pays for the Cost of Emergency Room After Surgery if It Becomes Necessary?
If something goes wrong and I end up in an ER as a result of a breast augmentation surgery, who will pay for the ER's cost? I asked my insurance company, and they said because it's cosmetic surgery based reason, they don't cover the cost. I called my surgeon's office and the receptionist said if insurance doesn't cover, it would be on me. Really? Then how much I need to be prepare myself for this worst scenario?
A: ER costs and insurance. The likelihood of a visit to an ER is very low following a breast augmentation. However, should this occur, the costs can be significant. You have done the appropriate first steps by contacting your insurance provider to see if they cover the costs. There are separate insurance companies which will provide term limited coverage for cosmetic procedures. CosmetAssure is one company that provides this service. Ask your plastic surgeon about this prior to having your procedure done.
I Had a TT 2 Years Ago, and Notice There's Some Slight Scabbing in my Belly Button. Should I Worry?
Today I noticed there seemed to be some lint in my belly button and I thought it was dirt. It didn't seem to clean up easily so I took a cotton swab and tried to clean it. I realized then the whole was really deep and feared I was picking off a scab. There were complications after my tummy tuck, I had a ventral hernia repaired and I've always had a slight stomach ache. My surgeon told me to give it a year and avoid pushups or exercises that strain the stomach.
A: New wound in the belly button post tummy tuck and hernia.I recommend a follow up visit to your surgeon. It certainly could be a suture from the original operation. If your ventral hernia was repaired with mesh, there is concern that what you are seeing is the actual mesh. A thorough evaluation is certainly warranted.
