I also have uneven waves and ripples, which dont bother me as much as the scar.
also the cordlike scar is within the abdomen- not on top of the skin. It is a fibroid type of feel, hard and thick and it is uncomfortable at times.
Hi there-
The problems you are experiencing are unfortunately not rare after liposuction with laser-based devices like SmartLipo. The lasers used cause more trauma to the surrounding tissues and can therefore result in many undesired problems- some of which improve over time, and some which require intervention to resolve.
At this point, I would not recommend jumping ship- follow all of your surgeon's recommendations very carefully, and give it time (it will probably take a lot of time). If there is still a problem 6 months after the procedure, visit a surgeon Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery (if the doctor who did the smartlipo is not) for a recommendation.
I had a breat augmentation and didn't scar or develop a keloid the first time. I healed very well; however, I went bigger the second time (apparently, the doctor will go over the same incision). I am 2 months and 1 week in my healing. Now, it appears that I am developing/developed a keloid. During my healing process I used Mederma, as I did with the first augmentation. Is there any kind of treatment for keloids under the breast that will show good results? Thank you
Hi there-
Without knowing more about your situation and being able to examine you, it is impossible to responsibly offer you advice or a diagnosis of your problem.
Your best bet is to bring this issue to the attention of your surgeon. Only he will be able to help you understand what might be going on and what has worked to improve the situation in his patients in the past.
I have indented red scar above my lip from a dog bite 18years ago would a filler help with the appearance? I would love to cover it atleast w/makeup but since its indented makeup just makes it stand out more. Please help I need advice asap!!
in my opinion, the very best treatment would be to simply excise or remove the old scar and make it a narrower line. This would be the best way to treat the scar for long term improvement.
