Radiesse Vs. Restylane

What is the difference between having Radiesse vs Restylane filler for nasolabial folds? Which is better? I've had it done with Juvederm but have read that the other two are longer lasting.

A: Radiesse last longer than Juvederm for nasolabial folds

Radiesse and Juvederm can be used to fill in the lines around the cheek also known as the nasolabial folds. Both are FDA approved and can produce excellent results. Radiesse can last anywhere from 12-18 months, while the Juvederm usually last 6-9 months. Radiesse cannot be reversed with an injection and Juvederm can. Hope this helps.

Can I Get Radiesse Removed?

Does anyone know how long Radiesse last under eyes?

A: Removing Radiesse

Radiesse will generally last for 12-18 months and cannot be reverse with another injection like Juvederm or Restylane can. It should be injected in the depper tissues such as the cheek over the bone or under the lines aournd the cheeks (nasolabial folds). Juvederm or Restylane is better suited to areas in the eyelids. Unless an incision is acceptable, one should wait for the Radiesse to breakdown over time.

Radiesse for Nasolabial Folds

I am thinking about Radiesse for my nasolabial folds and possibly marionette lines.  Does Radiesse work for these areas?

A: Radiesse for parentheses / nasolabial folds

Radiesse is an excellent solution for rejuvenating the face and blunting the nasolabial lines. When use in conjunction with a small cheek augmentation, the effect is dramatic and youthful. As with any filler, experience is a must to prevent unnecessary complications. The other advantage of Radiesse is that it can last anywhere from 12-18 months, which is significantly longer than Juvederm or Restylane.
