Dr. Desai is a wonderful surgeon, his and his teams attention to detail and care for his patients is evident in his years of amazing surgical results and happy patients. My surgical experience was great, the office staff were helpful and caring. I’m so happy I chose to have my surgery with Dr. Desai and his team, I would do it again in a heartbeat!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Dr. Desai and the entire team at Florida Plastic Surgery Group. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed, supported, and truly cared for. Dr. Desai is not only a highly skilled plastic surgeon but also a compassionate, attentive, and honest professional. After my second child I opted for a breast augmentation with breast lift, with the goal of natural "pre-baby" body. His expertise and artistry exceeded all my expectations—I am absolutely thrilled with my results! What truly sets this practice apart, though, is the incredible team behind the scenes. The MAs, patient coordinators, and front desk staff were consistently warm, responsive, and incredibly organized. Every step of the journey, from consultation to post-op care, was seamless and stress-free. They answered all of my questions with patience and genuine concern, making me feel confident and informed throughout the entire process. Dr. Desai and the staff at Florida Plastic Surgery Group have changed my life in the best way possible. If you're considering plastic surgery, this is the team you want by your side. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional care and beautiful, natural results.
I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Ankit Desai and his team. From the moment I walked in for my consultation, I felt completely at ease. He took the time to really listen to what I wanted and helped guide me through options that would give me natural, balanced results. I never felt rushed or pressured—just fully informed and supported. I had a breast augmentation/lift and liposuction to my abdomen, and I’m absolutely in love with my results. Dr. Desai has an incredible eye for detail and truly knows how to enhance your natural shape. My breasts look beautiful and proportionate, and my stomach is flatter and more sculpted than it’s ever been. I finally feel confident in my own skin! Surgery day went so smoothly, and the recovery process was easier than I expected. His team checked in with me often and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Any time I had a question, they were just a call away. If you're on the fence about surgery—go see Dr. Desai. He’s honest, skilled, and genuinely cares about his patients. Choosing him was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
Where do I even begin?!? WOW! What an amazing surgeon. I found Dr. Ankit Desai through my sister in-law who had a Silicone Breast Augmentation in 2011 with Dr. Ankit Desai. I had my first breast augmentation in 2004 (with a different surgeon), and I was ready to have them exchanged after having them for so long. I reached out to Dr. Ankit Desai’s office and scheduled my consultation. I scheduled my surgery before I left the office that day because I was just so excited from Dr. Desai discussed with me. We decided on removing my saline implants (360cc) and have silicone breast implants (560cc) placed. I did decide to go a little larger than what I was before, but that was my personal preference. I had little to no pain after my surgery and I went home the same day. I felt great!! I followed up 1 week after and Dr. Desai said everything was healing perfectly!! If you are looking for a surgeon who will listen to you and help get you the results you desire…then book your surgery with this surgeon!! I promise you will love your results as much as I do!!
What a great practice this is! Dr. Desai and his staff are amazing! I had a Tummy tuck and breast reduction. Everyone was very helpful with the entire process of my surgery. I highly recommend Florida Plastic Surgery Group!
I had a lipoabdominoplasty and breast reduction with Dr. Desai. I have never had surgery before, so I was very nervous! Dr. Desai and his staff made me feel so comfortable. From my very first consult and throughout my process. What an amazing job he did! I am so happy!
I am finally coming up on my surgery date! I have done a lot of research and I am going with a 430-455 high profile silicone gel. My worries were that it was going to look too big because I am very petite, 5 foot 2 inches and 110lbs. My natural breast is very small AA and I have had three children so they have lost their fullness in the top. I’m pretty confident that this implant size will give me the outcome I am hoping for. I will add some preop pictures and my wish pictures until after my surgery! Updated on 11 Aug 2021: Hey guys! I am here in post op, just got everything ready and IV started!! I’m feeling very excited and nervous. I will post another update with a new boobie pic!!! when I get out of surgery. ………….,,, Updated on 11 Aug 2021: Boobs are done!!! I haven’t fully got to see them yet! I was wondering if anyone was nervous to take the bra off?? I’m kinda debating because idk if I can place it back on properly.. When I woke up from surgery I had a big pressure feeling on my chest and that’s about all the discomfit I’m feeling, no!! Updated on 13 Aug 2021: Post op day 1. I am feeling pretty good, got my first half shower last night and got to get a couple pictures and a better look at my breasts. I am so happy with my results so far! Just waiting for them to drop down now! Updated on 23 Aug 2021: Hey guys! So most of my swelling is gone and I’m not in pain unless I move wrong. I have a 3 year old that has been very hard to deal with as far as not picking him up BUT I haven’t!!! That’s probably my most challenging. They were really high and tight for about 10 days. The only thing I’ve noticed is I have a little bump in between my breast more so on the cleavage of the right breast that’s alittle painful but I think it’s just my breast bone because it poked out alittle bit before I had surgery. It’s not visible just able to feel it. I have been doing massages like my surgeon recommended at 1week post op and that’s been softening them up pretty well! Updated on 5 Oct 2021: So!! Everything has been wonderful as far as my healing process, breasts have dropped to the same spot as each other finally so they are perfect!!(left was SLIGHTLY slower at dropping). I’m so blessed to have had such an amazing surgeon!! Updated on 20 Nov 2021: Hey everyone! So I am loving my results and everything has been pretty easy going in the past few weeks. A couple days ago I noticed when laying down that my right breast was indenting, and now I read back in my other review and realize that’s where the hard bump was In the beginning. I’m not sure what it is but I have an appointment for Dec 7th to have my PS check it out. If it’s nothing serious I probably will just deal with it because you can only see it if I’m laying down. Has anyone else had this?? Updated on 19 Dec 2021: Loving my boobs. I’ve been massaging and wearing underwire bras to possibly help with the indent problem but really it’s only visible when I am laying flat on my back when my right implant shifts alittle to the side I see the indent. I’ll worry if it becomes a problem but it’s not noticeable most of the time. Either way it’s 100% better then what I started with!!! They feel like a part of me.
I originally went to Dr. desai in April 2019 with 400cc mentor smooth, round silicone implants. I love my outcome but a few months went by and I realized I knew I wanted to go larger. I went back and decided to go with 750 (overfillled to 800cc) smooth round saline implants. I am only on the first day if recovery but I haven’t been in any pain ( just a lot of pressure) and bouts of drowsiness. They are extremely swollen but I am excited to see my results :) Updated on 29 Aug 2020: Here are some of the wish pics I choose to show my surgeon. Can’t wait to see my results! I will post in a couple days for my week post op. So far the second day post op has been the most painful. I spent the first and second day laying on the couch with a 45 degree angle as advised. The third day I was up and running errands but taking it very easy. I still have a lot of swelling but can’t wait to see how the settle. I know they are going to be exactly what I asked for!!
Dr. Desai gave me my life back! After having a double mastectomy in March of 2017, he performed the Diep Flap procedure on me on Dec. 8, 2017, as part of my breast reconstruction. I can't express how thankful I am to have had him as my surgeon. He is so professional and caring about his patients, and his staff is also excellent! Before I went to sleep in surgery, I had a cold...hard...flat...corded chest. When I woke up...I had warm, soft breasts...and I actually had some feeling in them. I feel like me again! I am just thrilled and would highly recommend Dr. Desai for any type of plastic surgery, and especially the Diep Flap procedure, which requires alot of skill! Dr. Desai will forever be my HERO! :)
I’m one week post op and am on a bit of an accelerated schedule because I live out of state and have to leave town in a few weeks. I loved working with Dr. Desai and the amazing team at Center One Surgery. Got my steristrips off yesterday and passed out a minute later (I faint easily, but ugh. Should have left them forever). I just took my first solo shower and put neosporin on everything. It makes me lightheaded- not from pain, really, but this weird disconnect where I can’t feel anything but pressure! It’s like Novocain in your boobs. Anyway, I’m obsessed with my new pair. They’re amazing. I’m still a C- there wouldn’t have been enough blood flow if he got me down to a B, but oh well. I’ve been a 34-36H for over a decade and I’m so. Freaking. Excited. to buy a bathing suit!!
Choosing the appropriate size for your breast augmentation relies on many factors including your: 1. current breast size 2. the amount of skin you have, 3. your desired cup size 4. your breast and body measurements. You should consult with a plastic surgeon performing breast augmentation regularly who will work with you to pick the right size and profile. It shouldn't be just choosing one of two sizes and the right size for you means incorporating both you and your plastic surgeon's recommendations. Sizing bras do help determine an estimate of the size you hope to achieve. In our Jacksonville breast augmentation practice, we utilize silicone gel sizer to help patients feel comfortable with the size they choose. We also help them decisions by informing them that there can be some limitations according to their existing breast measurements as well as that the sizers appear larger in the bra than inside the body. In addition the use of disposable sizers during the operation, where we place temporary disposable implants and determine what sizes match your desired goals and body help to ensure consistent patient satisfaction. - Ankit Desai, MD, Jacksonville Plastic Surgeon
