They're sewed together through the middle, wearing tight jeans is uncomfortable and sex is out of the question for fear that they will rip if stretched. I've gone to dr's to try to figure out how i can get fixed but no dr wants any part of this they wont even look to see the problem. I dont understand why no one will help me it's not my fault they got sewed together. Also every dr i talk to has never heard of this happening, im just trying to figure out how to get them deattached from eachother
Dear B.s.
Sorry about your situation. Having been trained by Dr Horton in Genitourinary Plastic Surgery, I have significant experience with labiaplasty and associated problems. It is my expert opinion that this can and should be corrected for you. You are correct. It is not your fault.

I'm considering get labiaplasty to correct my overly large labia minora. I'm not so concerned with getting rid of the pigmented skin but I'm very concerned about preserving nerve endings both for sexual sensitivity and pain afterwards. Which method is best for this?
A modest degree of temporary post op pain is to be expected in any procedure. Your concern re pain is mostly related to 2 issues. The first is that that reduction stay away from the skin on the clitoris. A scar there for your stated concern is risk for little benefit. The second is regarding long term pain from your scar. All scars contract. A straight scar from an amputation reduction can be painful long term with intercourse. For this reason, I prefer what is called a "double opposing Z plasty" reduction. It is what we use to seperate fingers in children born with fused fingers. It requires more time and a meticulous technique but the attention to detail is worth it.
I am scheduled for lipo of the mons pubis in August. Was originally going to both the lipo and labiaplasty but when I heard of the pain from recovery I decided with just the lipo. I am 23, 5'3', 115 lbs. Small frame and skinny all over. Mons pubis protrudes a bit and since I have a flat belly it seems more prominent. Labia minora protrudes a little more than it should but doesnt bother me a whole lot. Just wortried itll look weird if after my mons is flatter?
No
Mons lipo is a procedure with a very high satisfaction rate. There is no reason to fear l minora prominence as a result. You will have swelling there for a few weeks to months but not long term.
