Can I travel by air to Colorado on Nov 23rd? What can I expect
In my expert opinion you will not have to be concerned about flying 3 weeks after nasal and breast surgery. You should ask your doctor for his/her opinion.
Thanks
I had a revision four months ago. I received kenalog at 1 and 6 weeks after surgery and each time the swelling went away temporarily and the nose shrunk and looked perfect. My nose has since gotten bigger and watching my sodium is only helping reduce swelling slightly. My doctor didn't want to give me more kenalog during my visit this week because of the potential risks. Should I expect my nose to eventually shrink to the size it was at after the previous kenalog injections?
In my expert opinion your nose looks nice in the view you supplied. Be patient and stay with your doctor. Four months after a rhinoplasty is still a short time. Go back to the doc as he/she requested.
I had my nasal bone rasped about 1 month ago and thought this would solve my issues with my nose; however, I'm realizing now that I need to get my tip reduced to better fit my face. I've read that tip reduction can be performed under local anesthesia, is this true? I have slightly asymmetrical cartilage on the lower part of my nose, would this by a problem? I've posted pictures to help illustrate. Looking at the pictures would you be able to tell me how involved it would be to reduce my tip?
As long as you mean local anesthesia with sedation in the OR, my answer is yes. I would be comfortable with reduction of your tip.
