Could I Have Ruined my Facelift From Neck Strain While Off-Roading? (photo) I had facelift 33 days ago. Followed all instructions, to the "T" 1st 3wks. Couldn't notice edema by POD14 & response was great. POD24-6 went on offroading wkend trip. Didn't realize strain I put on neck. Got home very swollen/tense & it doesn't seem to be getting much better, after po pred x4d, constant support wear, rest, freq ice & elevation. Muscle tension seems worse, edema looks less but doesn't feel better. Could I have permanently compromised results? Will I get POD9 definition back?

A: Postop Neck

At day 33 your neck still looks much better than the preop.

Ask your doc if you can have lymphatic facial massage. Be patient. It looks like all will be well.

56 Y/O Japanese Woman - Asian or Western Doctor? I'm 56 Japanese woman. I would like to remove under eye puffiness and face lift together. Do you recommend Asian specialist Dr or any plastic Dr ? I hear that Asian skin is differ than Western skin. Few my Japanese friends did face lift and eye surgery by Western Dr and they looks not natural looks which I do not want to happen to me. Please advice this matter, thank you.

Your question was about the lower eyelid and a facelift. It is the upper eyelid that has variations which would match your concerns. Regardless of asian or not you are best advised to find the best surgeon you can....

Will I Benefit from a Facelift? I am in my late twenties and noticed a sagging of my lower face from my early to mid twenties. I now have lines at the sides of my mouth and also from the corners of my nose downward and from under my eyes although It is hard to get on camera I have put in a pic from last year that shows the lines in the light and the 2nd pic- taken recently, shows the extent of sagging in my lower jaw which messes with my whole face shape and adds a good ten years to my age, what can I do?
