Best Laser for Skin Rejuvenation?

I'm 28 and looking for a laser treatment that addresses fine lines, mild acne scarring, and sun damage and tightening. I've had micro laser peels in the past and was not too impressed with the results. My biggest concerns are the lines/small folds under my eyes, fine lines from nose to mouth, and overall texture/tone. Would Active FX or Fraxel CO2 be effective for my needs? I would prefer a laser that only requires 1 or 2 treatments.

A: Fractionated CO2 Laser

Based on your description of fine lines, sun damage, and mild acne scarring, I would at least consider using a fractionated CO2 laser (Lutronic eCO2).  At age 28, I would probably suggest a series of micro-laser peels, or low energy treatments.  This would be coupled with a sun protection and skin care program to help prevent further damage .

What's the Best Skin Rejuvenation Treatment?

My skin is lets say, 'mature' ;) i'd like skin care experts to suggest best ways to rejuvenate and repair from years of ignoring skin maintenance.

A: Skin Rejuvenation

There are many aesthetic treatments, beginning with topical creams which claim to rejuvenate skin. However, in circumstances of "mature" skin, just be aware that the severity of the problem has to be matched up with the appropriate treatment. Generally, the more profound the skin damage is, the greater rower the treatment will need to have. Luckily, newer technology has allowed for use of a very powerful treatment (CO2 laser) in the form of a selective, tunable technique (fractionated CO2 laser). The beauty about this technique is that it can be used with greater or less intensity, and can address dyschromias (brown spots) and lines/ wrinkles with less downtime than older generation lasers.
