I am 42 5'2" & about 130 pounds. I had breast implants 20 yrs ago. They encapsulated and caused me lots of complications. I got them replaced & removed 4 years later. I now have uneven breast - 1 A cup & 1 AA cup & they are different shapes now. My question is -since Im not a candidate for implants, would you recommend fat grafting for me if I only want to inject fat into the smaller breast (AA) so that it can be the same size & shape as the (A) cup? How much fat would I need? thanks!
based on your history you may be an excellent candidate for breast fat grafting. This may not be your only option as a history of breast implant problems does not necessarily rule out the possibility of using breast implants to accomplish your goals. Fat grafting can certainly offer an alternative which has certain advantages. This should be discussed with a board certified plastic surgeon who can offer their opinion during a consultation. good luck.
I am 23 and have always had hereditary dark circles caused by tear troughs and very thin lower lid skin. 2 months ago I had restylane done. It did slightly improve the contour, though I have a dent under one eye and the darkness from underlying vasculature and muscle is still there. Now I'm hoping fat might be an option as it isn't clear. Can I have fat transfer to the area with the restylane so recent? I'm also trying to find a dr in Atl that is known to be skillful with this delicate procedure
I think it would be best to delay it a bit till the restyene is gone.Fat is a good option and a light peel might provide enough bleaching to get rid of soem of the color you have.l
I had my first fat transfer to the breasts 2 weeks ago. Is it normal for the breasts to feel tight and lumpy at this point. Do the breasts eventually feel softer and move more natural? I am also wearing the brava bra postoperatively for increased circulation to the new fat.
Yes if you are only 2 weeks post fat transfer this is totally within the range of normal. This lumpness can take several months to go down so don't fret.i
