I've read a lot of good reviews on MiXto Laser. Is there really less pain and downtime with MiXto than other laser treatments? How much pain and downtime can I expect with this procedure?
Since our Mixto G2 has arrived, we have parked our Fraxel and Sharplan C2 laser.
Mixto G2 can treat virtually all patients without injections, and has shorter recovery period for equivalent depths of treatment compared to our prior lasers. Fewer treatments are needed to get happy patients.

I have bad acne scarring on my cheeks and chin. It's causing me to be very insecure even with makeup on. Is it possible to completely smooth out acne scars with multiple Mixto Fractional Laser procedures?
The Mixto G2, which is the type just released to the US, is the most effective short recovery laser we have used for acne scars. It will take several sessions for really deep acne scars.
In addition, we may do sub-incision where we release under the deepest scars as we do the Mixto.
The degree of success depends on your skin type and the depth of scar. We do not treat unless the acne is controlled.
