I have had buck teeth all my life! I never wanted braces as a kid because they were those big metal pieces that wrapped around your tooth. I remember all the other kids got teased because of it. "Metal Mouth" was the big term LOL. Anyway, I opted out and have regretted it all my life. I have now decided it is time. Invisalign is totally the way to go and I am so excited!!! more
I had braces in middle/high school and apparently didn't wear my retainer like I was supposed to. My teeth are not actually crooked now but my arch shrunk back and crowded all my teeth. Now some are behind others because there's no room.

Ok the Pros and the Cons so far:.. yesterday was my first day of getting Invisalign.
Pros: *short office appointments, *clear and can't see them :) and *no restrictions on what you eat (as long as u take the trays out).
Cons: *very sore, but ibuprofen really helps. *knowing you CAN take them out but you are wasting your money if you don't keep them in 22 hours a day. *forgetting to put them... more
I chose Invisalign because my teeth seem to be prone to cavities, and I can't afford to have anymore that may be overlooked by traditional braces.

I didn't want to wear regular braces at 45, and go through the recommended 4 extractions. Went to invisalign provider and found out I was a candidate. I have an overbite, crossbite and some crowding.
