the surgeon i am considering suggested that iam able to preform my procedures within a week of each other
I routinely do entire back liposuction in conjunction with a full abdominoplasty. This saves an extra anesthetic and prolonged recovery period. If the plan is for you to have it done within a week I see no reason(unless there are state medical guidelines) as to why you could not do it all at once.
I've been reading this website religiously and most Doctors suggested that final result won't kick in till 6 to 8 months, but had mentioned that you should see 80% of the result after 3 weeks. I had tumescent liposuction 3 weeks ago, on my anterior thighs, inner thighs, saddlebags and inner knees. The Doctor took 750ml out. I understand that everyone heals differently but I really don't see much difference at all, can someone please tell me if I had wasted 7,000AUD for nothing? I'm 5'7 and 70kg
Based on your pictures(particularly the side view) it is clear that you do have improvement in your leg contour. weeks post-op there is still a significant amount of swelling present and with time (about 3 months) you will see a notable difference than you see now. Your surgeon did a nice job and was relatively conservative with the amount of fat removed. If he/she was too aggressive you may have developed dents and grooves. Overall, you have a nice result and in 3-6 months you and your surgeon can review your results with confidence as the swelling will be gone. Best Wishes!!!
how much time should I wait between lipo procedures. Day 1 would be 4000cc on i/n thighs, hips, u/l abs, back, knees, and arms. I am 199 lbs 5'7 curvy and think I will need another 2-3K cc to get the hour glass figure I am looking for (175 lbs)I was told 4 days, 6 weeks, 3 mths, I am confused. Which is it. Surgery 1 is Oct 5, 2011.
I believe that staging large volume liposuction procedures is the safest weigh to achieve optimal result. It is very important that the procedure is done in an accredited facility with meticulous monitoring and probably an overnight stay. I would perform 4-5 liters of liposuction at the initial procedure and treat each are to completion. I would then wait 3 months to allow your body's physiology to return to normal and for significant swelling resolution to better assess the amount needed at the next stage. At the next stage, I would then address the areas that were not treated initially. I do not like to return to a previously treated site as their tends to be more scar tissue in this area which can lead to increased bleeding, contour abnormalities and ultimately a subotpimal result. Allowing sufficient time in between stages is much safer than trying to repeat these procedures too close together. Best of luck!
