I'm a bit unclear about botox benefits. does it give you immediate results for wrinkles?
Botox begins to work 3-5 days after it is injected. it does not work for all wrinkles--only it is effective for the dynamic wrinkles which are caused by contraction of the underlying facial muscles.
How long after receiving Botox do you see the full benefit? Also, how many times can one receive this? I know it is every 4 months, but is there a limit to how long one can keep getting botox?
Botox inhibits the enzyme at the junction between the nerves and striated muscles. It usually takes effect 3-5 days after it is injected. I am convinced that Dysport has a shorter onset of action (works sooner) but I do not know if it lasts any longer than Botox.
