5 yrs. ago I had a TT and then #yrs after that unfortunately i had a hysterectomy where they had to cut thru my scar because my ovaries where imbedded in scar tissue due to endometriosis. is it possible to have a second tummy tuck or a mini ?
I doubt you will need a full tummy tuck but may need a revision of the scar and possibly repair of the lower muscle. That should not be a big deal and there should not be a lot of down time, very little if no muscle work is needed.
Had a tummy tuck to remove excess skin in Jan 2011 with lipo. Now I'm noticing more and more excess skin as well as a midline bulge (which had thought to be a seroma has now been ruled out).
Based on your single photo it appears that you are a good candidate for revisional surgery. Without a side view I cannot appreciate a bulge or skin laxity. If there is some skin laxity then this would present a wonderful opportunity to lower the scar with the removal of the remaining loose skin. Additionally, you would also benefit form liposuction around your waist and hips to better contour your figure. During your next visit with your plastic surgeon discuss your concerns and formulate a plan to address them. Best wishes!!!!!
i had abdominoplasty with lipo of abdomen, last year and i did fine. but my question is we are gonna redo this procedure plus liposuction of flanks, and back. what are my chances of dieing or developing major complications from this. i am 39 yr old healthy, no none heart problems, no bloodclot history. i am just worried. when is bloodclots likely to form after surgery. or if any complications should occur what is the time frame. thanks and i hope i am not getting on your nerves/
Chrissy, You don't tell us why you want to redo the tummy tuck. Was there too much skin, is the muscle too loose, are the scars bad; it would be beneficial to know. Certainly the risk of the complications you talk about are low, but could occur. Most plastic surgeons take the appropriate precautions to avoid complications, but there is no guarantee. A full tummy tuck plus lipo does have the highest risk of complication especially when you get into larger volumes of ft being removed. More info would be helpful.
