It has been a week and a half since my procedure. I had the midface done. The swelling, which was quite considerable, and included some bruising under my chin, is gone. I do see improvement in the marionette lines on the side of my mouth. They are not as deep as before. My skin feels thicker. I still have minor pain but I think this is good. My skin is doing what it is supposed to be... more
I had ultherapy in the lower face 4 months ago and have had only negative results. First of all it was way more painful a procedure than I thought. I was told that the company updated its method and it would be less painful than previous settings that they used. Can't imagine how painful it must have been before! Anyway, I do not have super sensitive skin, but have had problems with acne... more
I had full face Ultherapy done in June, and I was waiting for something SOMETHING to happen before posting. So now it's been over three months and I thought I'd make my comments. First, yes it was painful. I took pain killers and it still hurt like crazy. But anything that can keep me from having surgery I thought would be worth the pain. I read all the fabulous reviews (80 % thumbs up... more
The procedure lasted less than 40 minutes and I did the mid section of my face. The "fullness" to my face returned and the folds next to my nose improved drastically. People say things to me now like "your skin looks great". I feel I look less tired and my skin did improve. The results do occur over time, it is not immediate. I would recommend for anyone looking for a "lift". more
It hurt like crazy, took about an hour and I was able to go right to work afterwards. A true lunchtime procedure. My doctor, Dr Deborah Pan in New Haven, CT, also gave me Botox the same day. I saw tightening right away, and now, 10 days later, my nasolabial lines are noticeably shallower. I'll check in after 14/20 days Okay - it's almost four weeks post mid-face and... more
I had ultherapy for neck about 6 weeks ago, along with sculptra on my cheeks. The neck looked great immediately, and when the swelling went down, it looked better, but not great. I am OK with that. I had the lower face done yesterday. Because I had Sculptra done in both cheeks, I asked if it would "ruin" the great results. I was reassured that it would be OK, even though it seems... more
Had Ulthera done ..38 days ago.. wild experience. It was painful but worth it. The nurse provided a valium. Could have used 2. I squeezed a ball and it helped. I am very glad I went to a surgeon for this procedure. He is very artistic without making you look fake. My jaw line is more defined..and so is my neck. Did not do it on my whole face he said it might make my face look hollow. Only... more
Okay, I've been stalking these boards for months as I got up the courage to do the Ulthera. Well after reading so many positive posts I took the plunge this morning. So the first thing I have to say is Yes, it does Hurt! In some spots, not so bad-- but in others felt like I was getting my teeth drilled without novacain. My doc gave me percoset and some other mild pill....they suggested... more
