I wanted to fix the gaps in my smile. I had to do a two part process, first I used Invisalign to put my teeth in the correct location then my dentist used bonding to shape my smile. I found the pros of Invisalign were that it's invisible and that its just as effective and quick as braces. The cons were that it costs just slightly more than braces and you have to take out the trays when eating. more
I'm a 24-year-old guy on my way through Invisalign right now. I started my treatment two months ago and I've been taking a picture of my teeth when I put in each new tray. I love it to death. I've been extremely self-conscious about my teeth for a long time and finally had the money to take care of it. The bottom is very crowded and the top has a very crooked tooth.... more
I started invisalign 11 weeks ago - I have 11 for the top and 21 for the bottom. I have 2 attachments on the top and 5 on the bottom. I've had no pain, except for the occasional need to file (with an emory board) the rough edges. So far, I've seen no movement, but am assuming that the teeth are moving since each tray fits OK - tight at first, but not uncomfortable. My concern is that... more

Did not mind wearing the trays, it was also great because if there was a super special occasion I could take them out for afew hours if I felt the desire. I had to wear them quite a bit longer than I was orig. told, I had to get 2 sets of refinement trays afterwards so I was first quoted about a year but ended up in treatment for almost two to get things as perfect as possible. lower teeth... more
