“Not Quite Satisfied - Denver, CO”
Healing time & process was what I expected since I had had some plastic surgery in my 20's. Tightening of the facial and chin line muscles worked and helped to decrease "marionette lines" and reveal a lost chin line. However, I was left with loose, deeply wrinkled skin under the chin, marks from the liposuction on my cheeks, and ringing in my ears. I was a bit... more
“Such an Improvement! - Denver, CO”
I had my Lifestyle Lift in December 2010, and I am so glad I did! I had a turkey neck and the skin on my face was loose due to weight loss. Every time I looked in the mirror, all I could see was that turkey neck staring back at me along loose wrinkled skin on my face! My husband is actually the one who saw the advertisement for Lifestyle Lift on television. My initial consultation was... more
“Neck / Face Tightening, Eyelid...”
As a Nurse Practitioner seeing patients daily, I've seen the results of many types of procedures. One patient introduced me to the concept of Lifestyle Lift. I had done her preop physical due to hypertension-related concerns. I decided to call Lifestyle Lift and had my procedures the same week I had seen them.I am 6 weeks out from having neck and face tighten more
“Not What I Expected With Lifestyle Lift”
My wife had the lifestyle lift proceedure done 6 weeks ago and from day one has had nothing but pain, suffering, and a feeling of emptyness. After reading some of the comments on this web site I only wish we had read them before deciding to have the proceedure done. It is not reassuring at all to find other women having the same complications. My wife trusted the Lifestyle Lift doctors and... more
“Dissatisfied in Denver - LSL Fiasco”
I had wanted to have a facelift for some time. I went to several consultations and finally decided on LSL. I wish I had known about realself prior to my surgery. I decided on a lower facelift, chin lipo and upper and lower eyelids. My procedure was scheduled for noon on 1-16-09. I arrived and was taken to the room. The technician took my blood pressure. She was concerned because it was... more
“LSL Procedure Left Me with Arterial...”
I was discharged about 5pm after the surgery. Felt okay. Within 4 to 5 hours my face had swollen to 3X it's normal size, the pain was excruciating and I had projectile vomiting in spite of the phenergan suppositories. I finally called the doctor about 10:30pm, reached her answering service. The doctor called me back close to 11pm. I said (I am a nurse BTW) "my face is 2 to 3X it's normal... more
My experience with LL was totally traumatic. I was in mid-surgery, and wanted to yell, STOP--something just didn't seem right, but the surgeon had already started cutting. I did not find out until MONTHS AFTER surgery that I had a surgeon who was just LEARNING, and I had only consented to having a board-certified surgeon, so I was flat-out lied to. During my follow-up, which was negligent,... more
Had the Lifestyle Lift in Denver over one year ago in 2007. Although I had an improvement and the procedure was tolerable (recovery longer than expected) I now have permanent horrible puckering and scars behind my ears -and a scar that extends below my earlobe into my neck area. Also have some numbness, asymmetry, and occasional pain in one ear. The company won't refund any money. My... more
“Good at First, but After 6 Mo Began...”
At first I was praising LSL because the results were so good. After 6 mo I started seeing sagging in my neck again. My eyes still look good, but now after a year (11/29/06 was my procedure date) I am trying to hide my neck again. I have sagging, wrinkly skin, not as bad as when I had the procedure but I am very dissatisfied! I guess I had one of the better doctors but for the ordeal I... more
