I had Vaser liposuction three months ago by Dr. Shah. I can’t express enough how grateful I am not only to him for doing such a wonderfully detailed sculpting job on my body (flanks, back rolls, upper & lower abs), but also grateful that I gave myself the permission to finally do this for myself. I am in my mid 30’s and am not overweight but for 20 years have struggled with these areas... more
I was promised "fully defined 6 pack abs and obliques" in writing from Dr Millard.
Dr. Millard also told me in writing that he was "truly the best surgeon to do this surgery" on me and that "there are many surgeons out there who are performing liposuction procedures, but Dr. Millard really has the rare combination of “an artist’s eye and a surgeon’s top notch skills” that not all... more
I decided to get the Vaser assisted Lipoplasti for upper and lower abdoemen, flanks and inner thigh because I have an athletic build hidden under stubborn fat. I am only two days into recovery, I am pretty sore and bruised, but that was expected. I can see a difference even with the swelling, I am very excited to see the final result! I will post pictures after the bruising and swelling go... more
I am two weeks post-op. So far, my stomach and saddle bags show significant improvement. I still have lumps on my stomach, but I'm hoping that will resolve within the next few months. If everything smooths out correctly, I think it will have been worth it. The price tag for my surgeon was a bit high and wish I could have gotten the procedure done for around $8000-$9000, but his results seemed... more
Some doctors wouldn't even operate me on account of the different kinds of results that men experience from this type of procedure. To date I wonder what the long term effects will be. I have delayed making this post due to changes I have experience every week since the operation.
Week1: Did not take any narcotics for the recovery. Took antibiotics on track as RX. Regularly took 3... more
I never liked my neck. It went from the tip of my chin straight down to my collarbone, looking like a turkey’s neck. In every picture, I appeared to have a double or triple chin. I was always told that I looked like my great grandmother. Years ago I found a picture of her from her 20s and realized I had her neck. There it was in black and white – a genetic trait that I would be... more
I had VASER liposuction on my lower abdomen, inner & outer thighs, and lower back 7 months ago (4/09). I was, and am, 37 yrs old, 5'4" and 130 lbs, and wanted to improve my contours and be able to wear the clothes I wore 2 years ago when thinner. I work out regularly and eat a healthy vegetarian diet.I had traditional lipo. on my outer thighs 9 years ago with good, but very subtle,... more
I have worked out 4-5 days per week since college and have always struggled with my weight. I was frustrated with the way I look given the fact that I work so hard at trying to stay in shape. Once I entered menopause this year I started adding weight. I saw an advertisement about vaser liposuction and decided to check into it.Once I met with the doctor I decided to go ahead with the... more

I have always been in relatively good shape, but have always had love handles. As I have aged, the love handles seemed to grow to the point where the benefits of diet and exercise were not very evident. I would never have undergone traditional liposuction due to the potential damage to healthy tissue and possible complications. However, when I learned about VASER Liposelection, at age 53 I... more
