Rate it right up there with getting a Tat! Hesitant to do it again tho I like the results. What can help me. Thanks!
Fillers, like JuveDerm, can cause some discomfort upon injection. Certain areas may be more painful, such as injections around the mouth or specifically in the lips. Nerve blocks (like a dental block) can take away much of this discomfort. There are a couple of ways to do this; an infraorbital plus mental block for injections around the mouth, or a sulcus-mucosal block for lip augmention. Sometimes the blocks themselves can cause a bit of distortion of the area, so some injectors try to get patients comfortable with a combination of topical anesthetics as well as using the formulations of fillers that already contain pre-packaged lidocaine (JuveDerm XC or Restylane-L) before going right to a block. But, patients can certainly ask for a nerve block right from the outset.
I would like to purchase juvederm and botox for myself. I am not a physician however I heard that if I order it from a different country, such as New Zealand,it is legal. Is this true?
This is a VERY BAD idea. As medical professionals we train in our specialities for a reason. Simply injecting yourself to save a few dollars is a horrible idea and makes absolutely no sense.
I hope that helps.
