IPL Hyperpigmentation I had a photofacial/IPL procedure done 4 days ago. I expected that my hyperpigmented blotches would be peeling off by now, but they still haven't. How long does it normally take?

A: Depends on the individual..

I agree with the other physicians. Normally, my patients see pigment lift almost immediately and take anywhere from about 4-14 days to flake off. I'd like to stress the importance of wearing sunscreen after any IPL treatment.

	“Preferred IPL to TCA Peel” I really liked the IPL with Luvulan better than the TCA Peel. The TCA peel produced positive results at first, however, with continued peels made my face more red. 	“Absolutely FANTASTIC!!” I have had 2 IPL treatments for brown spots. They have worked wonderfully. The laser is pretty snappy but the procedure goes very quickly. You can not get complete removal of light brown spots as they are typically pretty deep in your skin. I have had people, many people, comment about how great my skin looks.
