Certainly the best decision I made for my procedure was selecting Dr. Stacey Folk as my plastic surgeon. From the moment I walked into her office and met Dr. Folk, I felt immediately comfortable. I was impressed with Dr. Folk's surgical results as well as her thorough evaluation and honesty in her recommendations for the procedure that I desired. When I decided to schedule my procedure,... more
I have always been large chested. Since the age of 13 I wore a 36 D bra size. I have 4 children, however I never breastfeed, but pregnancy and the initial breast milk production after birth still stretches your boobs out. I had a tummy tuck back in 2009 that was done by Dr. Vath, so I figured I would set up a consult with him to see if he could lift my breast.
It has been 6 weeks... more
My surgery is coming up in a couple weeks and I couldn't be happier. I have been wanting to do this for a long time. Due to weight loss, my poor boobs are sagging and deflated-although they have been like that since my early 20's. I did my research and chose Dr. Squires. I had implants and a partial lift 1.5 years ago, the doctor who performed it didn't listen to me and what I wanted and made my breasts huge. The 1st surgery stretched my aureola and the scars around them were awful.
Dr. Squires really listened and did an amazing job! It is unbelievable the difference between the 2 surgeries - this time I got what I wanted! My scars are already at only 4 weeks... more

If you are considering a mastopexy/breast lift, Go For It! My only regret is not having done this sooner ;-)
Basics: 5'8", 145#' 34D (rolled up into a bra - lol!
Procedure: Mastopexy (anchor, without augmentation), general anesthetic, 3 days minimal pain meds, surg tape - no external stitches, 2 weeks surg bra, still 34D (but perky!)

I could not be more thrilled with the results of my bilateral mastopexy! One year ago I had undergone a circumareolar breast lift with silicone implants to which the lift did not hold and I ended up with heavy, drooping, unsymmetrical breasts. I was very self-conscious and nervous to have to undergo another surgery which I thought would lead to even more scarring and could potentially end up... more
