I have these bulging blood vessels of the backs of my hands that I really don't like. What can be done about them? Can I have them injected with sclerotherapy? Is it safe to do so?
An amazing treatment that easily diminishes the sight of veins on the hands is fillers such as Restylane and Perlane. I have done many of these with excellent results without the need to inject the veins.

What are the different agents that make up the solution used for sclerotherapy vein treatment?
Sodium tetradecyl sulfate is the only currently the FDA-approved sclerosant. We have also used hypertonic saline in the past with mixed results and a a lot of pain. This new product works better and is less painful. I have used it for over 3 years with no complications.

my friend paid $200 an hour for scelerotherapy. she spent $450 for her 1 leg. what is the average cost to get leg spider veins done on 1 leg
The cost will always vary depending on the amount of veins there are to treat. The more extensive the more expensive. Lasers or injections can be used and costs should be similar between the two since as a patient you are asking for resolution of the same problem but we are choosing which device to use to achieve these results.
