I previously asked for advise on dosage to remove restylane from under eyes and the consensus seems to be about 50 units under each eye, or as one doctor advised about 10 units per 0.1cc of product to be removed (which also equates to around 50 units for me). I would also appreciate some advice on dilution of the hyaluronidase, ie how many units/0.1ml of solution to be injected please. Responses are greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Samuele
It's been 8 months since I received juvederm under my eyes to correct hollows.( I didn't know I had a problem until my NY doctor told me. ) Anyway...the Juvederm has dissipated a teensy bit, but it can still be seen in pictures and under certain lighting. It is a distraction for me. I don't want to wait it out. I heard that for some people it lasts well beyond a year, and I don't want to go through another winter season of monster-like photos taken at parties.
You can look up Dr Tom Rohrer in Boston . He is a Mohs surgeon and a dermatologist. He will have experience with removing the filler with hyaluronidase or know someone in his practice that can do this for you.
One month ago I had Restylane injections to improve my tear trough and cheek area, and now I'm wondering if I can get rid of them and how long would I have to wait before it's safe to use Hyaluronidase acid. Also, would I need the same number of Hyaluronidase injections as I had for the Restylane?
Hyaluronidase can be used immediately. It does not need time to settle etc. Just be sure you are seeing someone experienced in fillers as it is equally important to know how to fix a problem as it is to know how to avoid it in the first place. By the way, you will see results within hours and the product will be gone within 24-48 hours. Another reason to choose hyaluronic acids as your fillers of choice.
