I am in my early thirties and I do not get regular botox. I don't have any lines around my eyes at all unless I smile. The first time I got botox was 2 years ago and the doctor only gave me 5 units per side and it looked fine. When I went in 2 weeks ago, he gave me 10 units per side. Is that too much for someone my age? It's only been 2 years, and honestly I don't think I have aged that much.
Dear Patient,
10 units of Botox per side is definitely not too much. Dosages may vary between 10 - 20 units per side. It all depends on your muscle activity and the number of lines you have.
Hi, I had dysport and Botox injected in Novemeber not alot for I was afraid of bruising I was seeing old friend's. I just need a little touch up I go to NV for 3 1/2 months should I be worried about flying or alitutude changes? How soon aftert injections is it okay to fly? Thanks Happy Holidays
Dear Patient,
Yes, there is not problem. Be sure to tell your physician so he or she is aware of your situation.
Regards,
I have had botox twice, both with the same doctor. I loved the results except that my tear trough seemed to deepen and extend down my cheek a little more, on both eyes, giving me a tired look. He did inject a little below parallel to my eye, as my crow's feet under my eye are pronounced. I want to return to him, but should I ask him not to inject under the eye area? I am 57.
Dear Patient,
Generally speaking, Botox is not recommended to be injected in the lower eyelid area. However, it can be injected on the outside of the eyes. i.e. crows feet area to below the eyes.
