How Soon After ILipo Treatments Can I Get Actual Liposuction?

Also, what happens to the fat after iLipo?

A: iLipo and Liposuction

ILipo is a non-surgical procedure that claims to reduce fat without the need for surgery.  Like every other non-surgical liposuction treatment out there, I have yet to see any evidence that it really works.  Given your question I assume you had iLipo and it failed and now you are looking for real liposuction?

Given that iLipo really doesn't seem to do anything, I see no reason why it would prevent you from having actual liposuction at any time.  There is no need to wait.  Just as if you never had iLipo.

Sincerely,

Liposuction Vs. Tummy Tuck - What's the Difference?

I've had 3 kids and definitely need some help in my stomach area, but I'm not sure if I would need liposuction, a tummy tuck, or both to get the pre-baby look I want.

A: Choosing Liposuction vs Tummy Tuck

Liposuction has the benefit of minimal scarring while a tummy tuck actually removes excess skin and tightens the abdomen.  Thus if you have a little bit of extra fat in a little pouch but not a lot of excess skin, then perhaps a liposuction would be a good option for you.  However, after having had 3 children, you most likely have loose skin, strech marks, lax abdominal muscles (seen as bulging belly) which would be much more effectively treated by a tummy tuck.  If you have loose skin and fat on your belly that you can grab with your hands and pinch in your hands, then a liposuction procedure will definitely leave you unhappy.

Is a Tingling Sensation Normal After Lipo? 4 Weeks PO

I had lipo on inner and outer thighs and full tummy tuck 4 weeks ago with lipo on flanks. The last couple days I have experienced some tingling in my right leg from calf to thigh and some in my right arm. It primarily happens at night but now starting to happen during the day. Is this just from the nerves waking up?

A: Tingling sensation after liposuction is normal

Tingling sensation, itching, buring, electric shock, sharp pain can happen after surgery and they represent nerve healing.  During the surgery nerve fibres have been irritated or injured and as they are healing they are randomly firing.  These generation various sensations that can be interpreted by the brain in many different ways.  The discomfort tends to improve and resolve over time but sometimes medication is required to sooth very irritated or painful nerves.
