I want to know if I could be a candidate for a Benelli Lift. I want a Breast Augmentation because I breastfed my baby and I lost a cup of my volume.
I visited 2 surgeons in my country and they told me that I will need a lift only on my right breast. They told me about a Lollipop Breast Lift, but I read here that some people can have a Benelli lift. I want to know if I really need a Lollipop Lift or a Benelli + Breast implant. Will it work? Thanks in advance for your answers.
Hi Jadore645
Without the benefit of a clinical examination and measurements it is not possible to give an exact answer to your question. It is probable that either procedure can be performed but the changes or improvement may not be the same. In general, breast lifts that have more scarring also provide more lift. Depending on how much lift you require or how much residual ptosis you will accept will determine which procedure is preferred and selected.
Although I know this is not a great answer to your question, I hope it is of some value to you and provides some help as you make your decision. Best wishes and good luck to you.
Would a Benelli lift be enough? I would also be getting a 340cc HP textured silicone breast implants along with the breast lift. In the previous consultations, I was told I almost have a pseudo ptosis. My nipple is 19cm. from the collarbone. I did breast feed and have some stretch marks from my first pregnancy. I have attached a picture, both front and side views. I really want to have as few scars as possible. Thank you.
There are numerous types of breast lifts available and all have advantages and disadvantages. Based on your description and photographs, I would expect that a Benelli type lift would be adequate. Be informed of potential problems associated with this procedure such as occasional reduced projection and “flattening” of the breasts. Also, the scars may not always be ideal with scattered cases of gathering of tissue along the incision.
If you goal is to avoid scarring, it is conceivable that you could receive an acceptable result with breast augmentation alone. If you tried this option and decided you still needed some type of lift, this could be performed later as a secondary procedure.
I hope this information is of some benefit to you. Good luck on your future surgery.
I have 4 children and am done with breastfeeding and having babies. I currently have implants (saline) over 500cc (DD or DDD). I have one areola that is bigger than the other and would like it even with the smaller one, can I have it done without a Breast lift?
I also have sutures in my breast and they ended up uneven. One breast is higher and smaller than the one that is lower and bigger, that is the one with the bigger areola. Is there anything you suggest to get them looking more even?
Hi Blue44
Without the benefit of an examination or even photographs it is hard to answer you question. I will therefore have to give a guarded answer and say it may be possible to achieve some of your goals without a standard breast lift. I assume you are concerned about the extensive scars normally associated with the breast lift. These can be viewed in brochures and on the Internet. It is possible to reduce your areolar diameters and only have a scar at the peripheral margin of the areole. From this incision you can also obtain some lifting through a “donut” mastopexy.
If the differences between the breasts are not substantial, the symmetry in lengths can be improved as well. Regarding the differences in volume, if you wanted to avoid a breast reduction, one option might be to place a smaller implant in the side with the larger breast. Whether these are possible would depend on the extent of you condition. I would recommend a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to receive a more definitive answer to your question.
I hope this response is of some value to you. Good luck in your future treatment and surgery.
