Breast Implants Cost to Increase Cup Size?

I am size 34A and I would like to have a 34C breast augmentation. How much would it cost me?

A: Costs for breast augmentation vary but rough estimates can be obtained

Hi China,

Many factors affect the cost of breast augmentation although the cup size or implant size is not generally one of them. Assuming there are not complicating factors and a need for added surgery, most plastic surgeons will quote a “ballpark” figure over the phone.

I would caution you that cost can be considered when selecting a surgeon but it should not be the primary factor or even high on the list. Although breast augmentation is a very common procedure, it is still surgery and the quality of the surgeon should supersede costs incurred.

I hope this response is helpful. Good luck and best wishes as you undergo your procedure.

Doing Research About Breast Implants: Where to Start?

What should i include in my research process for breast enhancement surgery? I am just starting out and wondered if there a things I should really pay attention to when doing the research?

A: When making a decision on breast augmentation, begin by selecting the best surgeon

If you are considering breast augmentation, your research should begin with the selection of a surgeon. I would recommend choosing a surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This should provide the comfort of knowing that your surgeon is properly trained and has completed a rigorous testing and screening program. You should then have a complete and thorough consultation with a surgeon before making a decision regarding surgery. You can bring your questions to the consultation and make sure they are answered.

Unfortunately, it is rare for the average patient to have the background and education to allow them to become completely knowledgeable about the procedure based on their research alone. It is therefore important that the surgeon take the time to present all relevant information regarding the procedure including any negatives as well as the positives. You should not feel rushed or pushed to schedule a procedure. Only after being properly informed should you make a decision to proceed with surgery.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck and I hope you get a great result from your breast augmentation.
