i had my abdomen and the flanks done about 4 weeks ago but i see no result. is this normal? when can i see my result?
Hello,
Without photos, it is difficult to answer. In general you should see some results by 4 weeks, but it all depends on how much swelling and bruising you had to begin with. We tell our Santa Rosa liposuction patients that they should wait a full 3 months before evaluating. Keep your doctor informed, follow all recommendations and hang in there!
I have been to 6 plastic surgeons, and all said that I need a Tummy tuck because I will have excess skin, due to the fact that I lost 60lbs sometime ago. I now weight 135lbs. I can afford lipo but is this a waste of money? How horrible will I look? 2 doctors said I will look horrible, which hurt my feeling.. with all the fat gone after lipo, I should look better instead of worst? One doctor offered to do the Avelar.
The main concern I have is that you want to go against the advice of 6 plastic surgeons. I am sure you can keep looking until you find one that may agree with you, but there is a reason all 6 agree on their advice. I would follow their advice. It is better not to have any surgery than to have the incorrect surgery and all the consequences that carries.
I am a healthy 47 year old female considering having the following cosmetic surgery procedures performed at once: 1. Gummy bear breast augmentation (from an A cup to a C cup) 2. Macslift and Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) 3. Full body power assisted liposculpture (under chin, upper arms, upper and lower abdominal area, mons area, hips, thighs and knees) How long would the total operating time be for these procedures and is it safe to undergo all these treatments at once?
A healthy person can undergo multiple procedures, but there is a limit . I try to keep all procedures to around 4 or 5 hours maximum. Having a MACS lift, eyelid surgery, breast surgery , and full body liposuction all in one day will be lengthy. Most surgeons would not undertake that many procedures, especially with so many areas of liposuction. Even if the amounts removed are modest, just the position changes for the different areas will add time.
I would not advise you to have all of these at once. At the end of the day, do you want a tired plastic surgeon to be rushing through the last few procedures?
