What is the effectiveness and the cost of a quick face lift as compared to a traditional face lift? How permanent are each of the results?
Quick lift, Simoni lift, MACS lift, New York lift, Mini Lift, Vector lift, Lifestyle lift...... the list goes on. It is all marketing. Frankly, the less you do the less the results last, despite claims to the contrary. I would spend more time with a an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon looking at before and afters that are long term (every one looks fabulous at 4 months) and less time with the marketing efforts of a "named" lift.
I have scars under my eyes. If I have a facelift, would it mean that the scars could be removed as excess skin as the face is pulled up tighter?
Hello Alexander
A facial rejuvenation procedure usually involves what is known as a facelift, and sometimes eyelid surgery. Fillers are good adjuncts as well as some form of peel or laser. However, I doubt that any procedure can remove scars under the eyes by pulling skin tight enough. Have a face to face discussion with a board-certified plastic surgeon and they will be able to give you all your options.
Have you heard of the Silhouette Lift? If so, what is your opinion on this? Thanks!
Silhouette lift, Quick lift, S-lift, Simoni lift, Beverly Hills lift, MACS lift. What else can I say? Beware of seeking facial rejuvenation based on a named procedure. What you want is a careful analysis of your own facial aging concerns and a careful plan to reverse those aging changes. Do not fall just for the marketing pitch of "less swelling, faster recovery" that seems to be the most important aspect of many sales pitches.
