Dysport Vs. Botox - What's the Difference?

How is Dysport different from Botox? Is it cheaper? Is it better?

A: dysport diffusion is no illusion

As i stated before Dysport and Botox are not interchangeable. As much as the pseudosceintific literature wold suggest that Dysport lasts longer it does not. Furthemore,Dysport diffuses further than Botox so that injection sites must be modified which never were  done, I investigated Dysport long before it had US approval and these facts are very obvious in the older Dysport literature. PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE THEY BEHAVE IDENTICALLY ARE SIMPLY WRONG1

Reduce Chin / Mentalis Size with Botox or Dysport?

I have a protruding chin largely due to a big, ball-like mentalis muscle. I've heard about reducing masetter size with injectables, but would this have a visible effect on the mentalis? Big points for recommending a NYC doctor with experience in this...

A: the chin

the chin is best treated with Botoc rather than Dysport or Xeomin. The latter two toxins spread too much to be localized to this area. 15 units is injected right underneath the chin to prevent diffusion to the muscles that control the movement of the mouth or obicularis oris

Dysport, Brow Hooding

Used botox 12 yrs, excellent results. New Dr used dysport. After touch up due to dysport not working, brows dropped and look hooded. Doctor 3rd time injected 3 sights below the brows to elevate them & correct hooding. @ 48 hrs, brows elevated but only to drop again after injected with botox Should I return to this doctor or seek a second opinion. Lost faith in this plastic surgeon, obviously, not a clue on proper injection sights. $1000 later, dysport 0 on lines but hooded brows!

A: brow hooding after Dysport

Dsyport has greater diffsion thann Botox. Though some people do not want to believe it a  full study of the literature   will firmly  show you that dyport works more quickly because it is a smaller molecule than that of Botox and spreads a greater distance from the site of  injection. That is why if an injector uses the same pattern he used for Botos problems will occur
