I had my breast augmentation done back in Feb 2011 and at first was very satisfied with the results, but now they are starting to sag and I need a breast lift. Will I have to have the implants removed, have a breast lift performed, and come back at a later date for implants? Or will someone be able to do it all at once? I posted some pictures from right after surgery and then from today.
If you are happy with the size of your breasts, there is no need to replace them and only a breast lift can be performed. If you are not happy with the size of your breasts, it is better to remove the implants and wait at least 3 months for the swelling to resolve. You can then be re sized with different breast implants thus allowing you to find the best size for you. During the second surgery, both augmentation and breast lift can be performed at the same time. I recommend this two stage approach as it will give you the best, most accurate means of finding the right breast implant size.
I Would Like to Get Breast Lift and Implants. I Am 48 Years Old and Have Nursed 2 children. I am 5' 6" and 110 lbs. I have met with surgeon and he wants to do a lift and 300 cc implants. What type of lift should be done and could I go larger with implants. I do not want any sagging after and I want my breasts nice and tight. Am I too old for implant surgery? Thanks
You are definitely not old for this type of surgery. Obviously, a physical examination will be ideal, however, based on your photos you may not need a lift. If a lift is required, in my opinion a doghnut lift (the incision is around your areola) will give you the desired result.
I am considering of having a lifting procedure combined with implants, I am very concerned about the scars, but according with the shape of my breast, what kind of liftind do you think I need?? any suggestion will be really appreciated Thanks
In my opinion, you require a full lift on both sides. It is important to place the nipple at the highest point of the implant and only a full lift will achieve this for you. However, there are many different opinions as you can see from the comments. Look at before and after photos of breast implant with lifts and see which ones you like.
